The hardship brought to the aviation industry by the COVID-19 pandemic is simply unrivalled. Never have airlines suffered such strict restrictions on flying in countries around the world nor have they had to take such radical actions as they are forced to now. But in the struggle to survive and grow back once the dust has settled, one category of airlines has the advantage: Low Cost Carriers, or LCCs.
